May: It can be a bit of a gamble. Old man winter could still provide some cold weather, or it could be warm and sunny.

June: Good and usually not too busy. 

July: High season. Good chance of good weather.

August: The local’s favourite, still warm and sunny – but less busy. 

September: A bit of a joker – often lovely, but the autumn storms are lurking. 

October: A gamble, often a lot of weather. But a real treat on good weather days. 

To go climbing, a car is a must. 

Lofoten offers plenty of places to stay depending on your budget and needs. Please see our page on different options. 

On a guided climb with us all nessesary climbing equipment will be provided. This will usually be:

Helmet, harness, climbing shoes, ropes and all other safety equipment. 

If you wise to bring your own climbing eqiupment, please feel free to do so.

We have trips for all levels of climbers, from beginners to experts. 

Well, but it depends:

If the tour is listed as ‘Open ‘, you can join as an individual or more individuals. You will then be part of a group. The trip will be adapted to the group’s overall skill level. 

If the tour is listed as’ Private’ – it will be only you (or your friends) in the group. This  call for a perfectly tailored experience for you. 

Upon booking a packing list for the seleced climb will be sent to you.
